Demonstration near the Russian Embassy

The demonstration is tomorrow 19.11 at 14:00 in front of the Russian embassy.

As we all know, the Russian side has recently sent and delivered refugees from third countries to the Finnish border. There is direct evidence of this (eyewitness testimonies and videos), as the Russian army brings a large number of refugees from Iraq and Syria together with (new) bicycles and now also scooters to the Finnish border.

Due to this, the Finnish authorities have closed 4 checkpoints on the border with Russia (probably other checkpoints will be closed as well). This affects many people - Russians who cannot return to Finland or travel to their relatives, Finns who are related to Russians, Ukrainian refugees, many of whom could have been evacuated through the Russian-Finnish border (mostly people from Russian-occupied territories).

We want to emphasize that the reason for everything is Russia's hybrid effect. Closing the border is a reaction to this effect. That is why we are going to the Russian Embassy to protest this hybrid war.

We also hope that the Finnish authorities will find some other solution to this problem, in order to prevent hybrid influence, but also not to prevent people from traveling to meet their relatives.

We also do not tire of reminding and protesting against the war in Ukraine. Russia must withdraw all its forces from all regions of Ukraine. Let's remember that only after that will it be possible to reconsider the sanctions that the civilized world has imposed on Russia. With its hybrid and aggressive wars, Russia deprives itself and its citizens of all the opportunities that are necessary for normal development and a dignified life. Change is possible - but only after the end of the war and a change of administration. The choice is also up to each of us.
