Friends, on Saturday, June 15, we are going to a picnic, which we want to time to coincide with two events - June 12, which we declared as Free Russia Day two years ago and held a global action on that day. The goal is to show a different Russia and once again declare that we will not allow a lying criminal state to hide behind our name.
The aggressor state, fighting with Ukraine, with the peoples of Russia and with the entire civilized world, is trying to declare that it is Russia. But the real Russia is us, not a dictatorship headed by an illegitimate president. Our values are human rights, freedom of thought and speech, rejection of aggression and repression. We take a consistent anti-war position and invariably support Ukraine, which is fighting for its sovereignty.
This time, the global action unites democratic communities of Russians and Russian musicians around the world. Brave and talented people who oppose the dictatorial regime and military aggression with their creativity will participate in the events of Free Russia Day in different countries and cities.
The second very important topic is the Peace Summit, which will be held on June 15-16 in Switzerland. On this day, we, anti-war Russians, want to declare that we support the Ukrainian Formula of Peace, since this is Peace on the terms of justice, and we call on all people of good will to support Ukraine in its fight for Freedom!
