June 12 - solidarity marathon "You are not alone"

Join an Evening of Solidarity and Support!

This June, we’re taking part in the “You Are Not Alone” marathon by hosting a letter-writing evening for political prisoners. Through letters and words of support, we express solidarity with those imprisoned for their beliefs and remind them that they are not forgotten.

When: Thursday, June 12 at 17:00
Where: Rikhardinkatu Library (Rikhardinkatu Kirjasto, Meeting Room Tyko – between the 2nd and 3rd floors, Rikhardinkatu 3, 00130 Helsinki)

During our gathering, we’ll also join the marathon livestream when possible, connecting our voices with activists in other cities.

Don’t worry if you’ve never written a letter like this or don’t know where to start — we’ll be there to help. We’ll guide you on what to write, how to address envelopes properly, and how to ensure your message gets through censorship.

Your comfort and safety matter. You’re welcome to participate anonymously, and no one will be photographed without explicit consent.

Come write warm words, share hope, and show that no one is forgotten. Every letter is a ray of light and a symbol of solidarity.
