Thank you to everyone who joined the evening of letters to Ukrainian prisoners of war and Ukrainian civilian prisoners. πΊπ¦
Together we wrote 18 letters and 36 postcards. We will send them as soon as possible using the most convenient delivery method (depending on the colony).
A huge thank you to Anastasia Shevchenko (Anti-War Committee of Russia), who joined the event and told us about her project to help Ukrainian prisoners of war and about the guys we wrote letters to. We ended up writing to everyone from the list we had.
The reality is that many of them have practically no one except their mothers, sisters... the conditions of detention are terrible, the terms are huge, which were extracted under torture, or life sentences. Loneliness, hopelessness and a complete lack of communication with the outside world - this is the mood and the reality in which these people find themselves.
The little we can do is continue to support and seek an exchange of everyone for everyone.
