Tampere Solidarity Event with unpopular political prisoners

Join us on Monday, September 23rd at 18:00 at Vastavirta, Pispala, Tampere. We are gathering to support Russian political prisoners, raise money for legal assistance, and listen to the presentation “Feminist Anti-War Resistance: Structure, Repertoire of Action, and Digital Media” (in English).

Why support political prisoners?

Currently, there are 2,700 political prisoners in Russia, and most cases are relatively unknown to society. These individuals stood up for the truth but received harsh sentences, sometimes 10 or 20 years. They often receive little or no support. However, words from the outside mean so much to prisoners!

We will have a list and all the necessary information about these individuals, but you are welcome to write to anyone you choose.

Feel free to bring your own postcards, paper, stickers, etc., but we will also provide everything you need.

Participation is completely free! We would be delighted to see all of you! Solidarity is our weapon.
