Add to CalendarWe invite you to join an event supporting vegan prisoners in Russia — wards of the Vegan-Peredachki project. Most of them have been imprisoned for their anti-war stance, anarchist beliefs, or have been wrongfully convicted for political reasons.
On-site, you will receive all necessary materials: postcards, beautiful paper for writing, pens, and stickers. Since the holiday season is approaching, we will be sending New Year’s postcards, which should reach the prisoners by December.
The Food Not Bombs initiative will also talk about its actions. FNB is the distribution of vegan food to those in need, flavored with an anti-militarist propaganda.
We will be writing to:
- Evgeniya Makarenko — sXe anarchist framed with drugs at customs, sentenced to 11 years
- Ivan Kudryashov — creator of the anti-war street art piece “Fuck War,” sentenced to 6 years
- Ruslan Ushakov — spoke the truth about the war in Ukraine, sentenced to 7 years and 10 months
- Roman Paklin — involved in the fabricated “Tyumen case,” awaiting sentencing
- Andrey Chernov — sentenced to 14 years in the fabricated “Network case”
- Anna Bajutova — spoke about Russian military crimes in Bucha on a live stream, sentenced to 5 years 6 months
- Anna Arkhipova — involved in the “Vesna case,” awaiting sentencing
Vegan and gluten-free snacks will be provided.
The hall can be accessed via a slope from the side of the building facing the Messukeskus. The slope’s angle is ten degrees.
Of the hall’s restrooms, one is larger, and its doors can be opened wider. The toilet seat has support rails. This restroom also has a foldable changing table.
We are happy to see not only vegans but anyone in solidarity with Russian prisoners!
