Fundraiser for portable generators for hospitals and schools in Ukraine
Electricity is not just warmth — it's light, and it's life. In schools and hospitals, it powers education, surgeries, and life-saving equipment.
Due to ongoing Russian attacks, Ukraine is facing frequent power outages. These disruptions are especially dangerous in hospitals, where operations may be underway or patients rely on life-support systems. They also affect schools, interrupting children's education and damaging essential infrastructure. Medical staff have reported that some critical medications were spoiled due to lack of refrigeration.
To help, diaspora organizations together with the Anti-War Committee have launched a fundraiser to purchase portable power stations for Ukrainian hospitals and schools. So far, we have raised €46,000 and delivered two batches of generators. Our goal is to raise €100,000 to send 119 portable units directly to verified institutions in need.
Each request comes from a specific school or hospital — all listed on the campaign page. To fulfill them all, we still need €54,000. Generators are being sent in batches directly to the locations that need them.
💡 This is about more than power — it's about saving lives, supporting education, and standing in solidarity with Ukraine.
Funds are collected centrally via our partners in the Spanish diaspora. You can donate via bank transfer or PayPal. All details, reports, and donation methods are available here:
